We have a few people on the waiting list - paid ready to go. May 1st is fast approaching.

If Reijo do not have your check in hand, your place will be bump to another luck person on the waiting list.



Nick - Can you check with Reijo if he has your cheque? You said you mailed it but Reijo's record showed only the deposit.

List updated. There were some last minute drop out for various reason. If your name in the top 18, your cheque has been deposited. For those who are on the wait list, I still have your cheque and won't be cashed unless you get in to the class.

I have individually contacted those who made it into the class today.


If anyone is interested I can still put you on the wait list. Especially the Intro school, as there is no one on the wait list right now.

Supposedly the buffet at the casino is pretty good! Only bad thing is that they cannot accommodate huge groups of people so we might have to split into two or three groups for lunch......not a problem - we can eat in sequence.....or we'll figure it out in any case.

In fact most casinos seem to have pretty good food......from what I've seen anyway....keeps people there.

Does anybody have a sound measuring device?

I don't think I am running over 93db @ 50' but I wouldn't mind verifying it.

I added in a race header that replaces my shorty and cat in one shot, the car is louder this year.

Yeah, I think Rod has one.....well, someone has one and I imagine we will have it out. If you suspect you might be close, make sure you bring tools and whatnot along to deal with it.

Sometimes quick fixes can make quite a difference.....one of the easiest and surest ways is to install a flange and a bolt-on Supertrapp and adjust the number of discs until you are under.

Yes, I have one. I won't be there on Saturday but I'll make sure someone has it. You can pick them up at Radio shack for around $50 IIRC, that should give you a pretty good idea of where you are if you are concerned with how loud your exhaust is. Not sure how accurate the iphone one is, but it's pretty interesting for $1!!

I own an old Radio Shack sound meter (analog, no peak hold function). I can bring it if needed.

There have been a few last minute requests for entry into the schools but the schools are both full at this time with a short waiting list. The list is at the top of this thread. I believe there is one more on the waiting list for the Intro not on the current list.

Jinx/Tim will be flying in on Friday afternoon and we will be starting the schools early on Sat./Sun.

Please be prepared to run prior to the driver's meeting which is to be held some time about 8:15-8:30 am. EG, a good time to show up and prepare your car and yourself is about 7:30 am at the latest.....in fact, I would aim at 7:15 am.

Additional help setting up is always welcome and that will be slightly earlier than that.....say 6:45-7 am or so.

If you have some extra time, you can always grab a coffee or other beverage of choice (non-alcoholic of course).
